Prepping The Monster For a Rental

For anyone looking to start or has a motorcycle rental company. Here’s a video on what I do before renting to a new rider. Always conduct preventative maintenance checks. Previous to the new renter the bike was ridden in the rain. So along with wiping down and checking the motorcycle fluid levels, gauges/electronics, tire tread. I added a spray down and chain cleaning and lubricant. Customer was in and out and ready to have a blast!

Moto Camp Day Trip Blanco State Park

It all begins with an idea.

There are an abundance of state parks near San Antonio. Even if you don’t have the time to gear up and take two, three, or more days off for moto camping. There are a ton of parks within range to grab a bag, enjoy the beautiful Texas hills country on your motorcycle, and indulge in Mother Nature beauty.

Today I took a trip to Blanco State Park. Which happens to be about an hour north of San Antonio. I grabbed my bag pack, filled it with snacks, water, and my nakie hammock and I was on my way. My GPS originally told me to take 1604 to 281 but I wanted to ride some curves on the back roads so I took a different route. Traffic was light and the weather was phenomenal.

When I got to Blanco State Park. I sat for a while at a bird feeding station, went for a nice hike, then sat up my hammock and had a light lunch. It turned out to be a therapeutic day that only a motorcycle and the great outdoors can offer you.
